Claire Zhong is a senior at Crystal, and 4th year at the Gazette. Her hobbies include playing golf, reading novels and listening to Taylor Swift. She is excited to write this year, especially about Student Life!!
Lauryn Fleshman ’26
Lauryn is a senior at Crystal and this is her fourth year writing for Gryphon Gazette. She enjoys playing many sports such as tennis, soccer, and track & field. Lauryn also enjoys listening to music!

Niam Namburi ’26
Niam Namburi is a senior in his third year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. Niam loves to write about all things sports, especially collegiate-level football and basketball, as well as the NFL and the NBA. His interests include, but are not limited to sports, music, film, and comedy.
Rikhav Shah ’26
Rikhav is a senior in his third year as a writer for the Gryphon Gazette. He enjoys writing about many sports including basketball, football, and soccer, with Arsenal being his favorite sports team. In addition to his passion for sports, Rikhav is interested in learning about the world’s current events. Rikhav is very happy to foster his passion for writing through his position on the Gryphon Gazette.
Kate Park-Beardsley ’26
Kate is a senior at Crystal and in her third year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. She is excited to write about student life, arts, and current events this year! Her hobbies include playing lacrosse, playing guitar, and reading.
Sawyer Goldman ’26
Sawyer is a senior in his first year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. He loves to write about all things sports, especially collegiate-level football and basketball, as well as the NFL and the NBA. His interests include, but are not limited to sports, music, film, and comedy.
Arden Xu ’27
Arden Xu is a junior and is in his third year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette, the longest-tenured junior in the newspaper currently. Arden loves to write about all topics, from technology to sports to political events. Outside of writing, Arden loves golf, watching the 49ers, and socializing.
Aditya Garg ’27
Aditya Garg is a junior in his second year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. Adi loves to write about school life and sports, with special interest in soccer and tennis. He looks forward to covering the school’s boys tennis season, professional tennis tour, and any new topics or interests that arise within the student body.

Logan Spinner is a junior at Crystal Springs, and is in this third year writing for the Gryphon Gazette newspaper. Logan enjoys writing about current events, sports, and other school news.
Erin Mak ’28
Erin Mak is a sophomore at Crystal Springs and in her 2nd year of writing for the Gryphon Gazette. She is the Vice President of Student Life and enjoys journaling and playing volleyball.

Mia is a sophomore in her second year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette, who loves writing about all things music, pop culture, and sports. She loves basketball, skateboarding, poetry and music.

Annabelle Shek is a sophomore in her first year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. Annabelle loves to write about sports, entertainment/media, health and current events. Her interests include swimming, volunteering, shopping and spending time with her family.
Will Kopczynski ’28
Will Kopczynski is a sophomore at Crystal. This is his 2nd year on the Gazette. His hobbies include eating food, which is what he specializes in for the Gazette. He is eager to eat and write about food this year.

Alexandra Clark is a sophomore in her second year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. Alexandra loves to write about all things related to Crystal current news, including updates and interviews and opinion writing such as the best places to travel to. Her interests include, but are not limited to tennis, writing, dance, the environment and biology.

Vivaan Kuruganti is a freshman in his first year of writing with the Gryphon Gazette. Vivaan loves to write about all things, like food, and he especially likes writing about sports like basketball, F1, soccer, and the NFL. His interests include, but are not limited to, sports, music, movies, and games.

Her interests include reading books, playing piano, tennis, sleeping and is open to trying new things.

Her interests include reading books (open to receiving and giving book recommendations), playing volleyball, and of course, writing (specifically short stories).

Neel Mummaneni is a Freshman at Crystal Springs Uplands School and recently joined the Gazette. He enjoys reading novels and golfing. He often remarks, “Writing could not be any harder or easier. It constitutes is forming sentences from thoughts in an expressive way.”
